crazy's video can impress everyone because he made some awsome editing plus frag quality!
but most of players prefer a movie full of great frags and low editing than high editing and FX's than bad frags.

so you can make something basic and simple!

i dont know much about video editing, but it seems some other video editors get jealous over the abundance of editing in binary dmg but i guess if people had a choice then yeah they'd want better frags over editing.

so wolf when can we expect your frag video?

yes, editing is simple but very creative and good timing to use it.
VegaSkill, from vCTF, also makes fuckinawsome frag movies and clan war movies

ah lol, I didn't notice all those answers here :> .Binary damage is very good, because crazy got (i think at least, or close to: ) the perfect balance between nice editing, rythm in the vid and frags quality . Some frags are awesome and some others are "just" ok, if i can say.
But by experience (i always have this, and crazy also). You just fragged, you think " omg that's very nice" etc then you re-watch the demo, and it seems way less awesome as it seemed to be ...
Sometimes it's still awesome, but actually you lost the "surprise effect" you had the first time and some other times the frags is just "nice". That's where editing is useful, with just a nice frag, a wise edit fix this and the frag become nice+ .
Also, his edit is not "too much" like some guys do to try to artificially increase the frag quality. Best example is xirios from panic clan.
She does (imo) a huge huge work on editing, but sometimes it's "too much" and this, plus average frags = just an ok movie, nothing more .
Although the work on editing is well done/huge, the frag quality>editing ; nice frag+nice well chosen edit=nice++ (crazy) ; very standard frag + huge edit = Ok (xirios).

Yeah building upto half the frags in that video are a bitch. The final kill.

imo even though it still looks epic ^^ That frag was so unexpected in-game, trying to get over that in the frag vid wasn't easy. I left most of that unedited just to highlight the frag alone.
I find most people slap all their editing on when the kill happens, as such, you end up disguising the frag, making it looks better then it was, or infact making it look worse. In some cases making it completely unnoticeable.

I have not made any vid actually Pem because i'm very afraid to waste my frags by bad edit or sthg. Actually without any kind of pretention, I think with the frag i have, the fragmovie could have a good potential but as I said, I think my poor editing skills will waste it, so i don't do anything for the moment ;( .
And xD , me a pgm lmao , apart being a bit above the standard level i'm not anything else mate.

LLone, there were some guys (not sure if there still are) that colect demos from many players and then make a fragmovie out of them. nothing special in editing aspect but with your frags it could look good

^ thats true, also, just for an idea, you could try making a vid of just 1 game or something, (eg ictf) and use this to warm up to the editing software? it will give you a better feel for rypelcam too? you could get some niec flag caps in there i'd watch it but yeah stop this whining lol just do it man!!

Btw if you appreciate ctf mate you should try to join ut3.ctf 5v5 normal weapons ctf etc with ts etc.

and yet, i'm also quite noob with rypelcam so, i just rec in 1st person view, and some others in 3rd view, and make some edits to improve color, brightness etc.. with Sony Vegas Pro and that's it. if there's a really good frag then i make my effort to use rypelcam

few days ago that was like 2-3 PU each days (sometimes more), and btw it's always 2 maps by PU .
Is a bit more calm now, but the more ppl want to play, the easier PU fills up...
